Stanford must divest from oil and gas before the international climate negotiations in Paris at the end of November, when our voice can have the maximum impact—but the Board of Trustees and Administration are stonewalling, despite strong calls from the Stanford community. To convince them of the gravity and urgency of the issue, students are pledging civil disobedience to encourage our Board to act NOW, and divest from fossil fuels.
